Make the Bible Come Alive
Would you like for the characters to come off the page to be real people with problems just like the ones your class face everyday?
You are the key!
My children have experienced. One day my daughter came come from Christian School. How was your day I asked. (I know that’s a weak question and doesn’t always generate conversation, no rx but that day it worked.)
She explained great and filled in some details. Then she ended with everything except Bible. She continued with, “It was so boring!”
That was not what I wanted to hear, but the truth is in many Sunday Schools and Children’s Churches everything is great until it comes to the Bible Story. For that reason some churches have quit sharing a Bible Story at all.
But it’s not the Bible that is boring. It’s the teacher.
And that’s the truth.
The Bible is exciting. The Bible is God breathed.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV
You are the Key!
You can make the Bible Come Alive in Your class, but there are some things that may have to change.
In this workshop I’ll teach you how
- to select the story,
- prepare the story
- and present the story.
But let’s chat
a minute before I tell you more about this workshop.
(OK. This stuff is in the audio, but it’s important, so I want to tell you even if you don’t purchase the teaching.)
Let me ask you..
- Is the Bible precious to you?
- Have you found the Bible is the solution in your life?
- Do you realize the incredible opportunity you have to share the most powerful book in the world?
- Do you realize as a believer we each have a great responsibility to share Jesus with the world?
- While entertaining kids is part of what we do; it cannot replace the need they have to know God and His Word.
Your attitude is a very important factor in your success in communicating a Bible Story.
Your class cannot catch, what you don’t have. What you have is contagious.
Are you in love with the Bible? No, really. Do you love it? How do you expect your class to catch your passion for it, if you aren’t passionate in the first place? It won’t happen. It just won’t happen.
So fall in love with the Bible.
But falling in love isn’t easy…unless you spend time in it. Unless you know the author. I mean really know Him personally. Then the better you know Him, the better you love His words and The Word.
Maybe you’re more spiritual than me, but there’s been times I would rather clean the toilet than read my Bible. (Now, that’s a graphic picture for ya!)
And usually those times boiled down to unconfessed sin in my life or rebellion. As soon as I repented and dealt with the sin, the love for Scripture began to grow again.
No, I’m not sidetracked. And yes it has everything to do with your success in teaching the Bible.
Ask God to help you love the Bible. Ask God to show you truth and make it come alive in your heart.
If there is one thing I’m passionate about it’s the Bible.
I’ve discovered children are hungry for the Bible. They want to know God. So many children don’t know even the basic stories. And they love stories…when they are told right.
I have packed so much in this teaching. I believe it will help you communicate God’s Word more effectively and have fun while you do it! There’s just nothing like telling a great story.
I’ll help you understand the components of a great story. I’ll give you a recipe that you can use to make your own great stories.
I hope you are sharing God’s Word with children in a powerful and effective way, but if you need some help then this teaching is for you.
This teaching is really powerful.
In it you’ll learn exciting ways to make the Bible come alive in your class.
This CD workshop will help you prepare and present the timeless message of Bible stories like you’ve never done before.
