Eyeball Visual Aid

God's All Seeing Eye

At Halloween, TV and stores are filled with gory visuals and creepy critters. One of those creepy things you'll find are blood shot eyeballs. But I don't think they are creepy or scary at all because this eyeball reminds me of God's all seeing eye.

Now maybe that thoughts creeps you out. To think that God sees everything you do, all them time, whether you are outside or inside. Whether you are at home or at school, whenever, where ever God's all seeing eye sees you!

But in reality an all seeing eye is wonderful. God sees everything. He knows everything. Some people use those words like a baseball bat to warn people not to do bad things, but the Bible says in 1Peter 3:12 -  "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." God is watching you not to do you harm but to protect you. His ears are tuned to hear your prayer because He loves you and wants to hear you when you talk to Him.

You can order the "right on" eyeball, 8 object lessons and Bible Story ideas for using it in your class

(Show the eye.) Do you notice anything about this? No matter how you move it, it is always looking up. You can hit it. You can shake it. You can drop it, but it is always looking up.

You need to be like this eye. You need to keep looking up no matter what happens to you. Psalms 121:1-2 says “I will lift my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”

Alright, let’s get practical. When I look up I see the ceiling and that’s not going to help anyone. Look beyond the ceiling to the promises of God’s Word. Realize that He is with you no matter what you are going through. He wants to help you. He is your strength. Turn to the Bible. Finds its promises for the situation you are going through. He will help you if you look to Him.
