Three large jumbo cards are shown. Each have printed crosses on them, but the center card is in a different color easily depicting it as Christ on the cross between the two thieves. Usually a child is asked to come to the platform and hold a large folder with a picture of the tomb printed on it. The three cards are placed in the tomb as the crucifixion story is told. The two thief cards are removed leaving only the Christ card in the tomb. However the folder is shown to be empty except for a card with the words "HE IS NOT HERE". When the audience thinks that the Christ card is on the reverse side and indicate they would like to see it turned over, the words "HE IS RISEN" appear on the back. Very, very strong Gospel magic and very easy to do. Many performers use it in all of their programs, but a must for any program around the Easter season.
