Children need  heroes they can follow. Paul is a New Testament hero that models characters modern Christians need to reproduce in their lives. Values are not automatically inherited. They must be taught and caught!  We can help you teach these values using a salty ole Pirate, a Cajun fisherman, fish puppets, stories and object lessons from the sea. 

Your students will Sail through 7 C words to discover character traits that begin with a  "C" and modeled by  Paul: Converted, Commissioned, Confined, Courageous, Committed, Consecrated, and Confident.  They'll discover truths that will impact their lives. 

The skits are wonderful! Isadore, a  bubbly, loveable, Cajun fisherman shares fascinating object lessons from the sea. Simon Sailor and the Cruise Directors are hilarious. Dollie Dolphin, a puppet character, is always begging for a can of tuna, but refuses to earn it by learning the memory work. She squirts real water when she gets upset. She'll be a fast favorite in your class, while they discover  a delightful way to remember the twelve disciples on their fingers.

This curriculum works great in Children's Church, Home School, Backyard Bible Clubs, Sunday School or family devotions. 

Parents don't try to do an entire lesson in one setting. Read, act out one thing each day. Be sure to have the children take a part in the family devotions. If they are readers, let each person in the family take a day and pull one segment from a lesson. A lesson will be longer than one week when it is used for family devotions. By involving the family you will increase comprehension, attention spans and retention. We remember much more when we are involved in the learning process. Don't skip the skits. The puppets are inexpensive or let them make their own from sock or paper bags.

The visuals for Sailing 7 Cs Condensed are now available on CD. You can pull them up on your computer and print them out as flashcards or on transparencies for the overhead projector.

 They are  also on the CD in a Power Point format. If you have Microsoft Office you probably have  Power Point. Office 2000 is the one I use. The visuals can be used on the computer screen, clicking from one frame to another while you tell the story. You can use the  Power Point right on your computer for small class or family devotions. Larger classes will want to project it onto a TV or a screen.
