GOLDIE

More about Goldie.

Well, Hello there you sugars. I'm Goldie the Rock Hound and I just love hunting for rocks especially diamonds and gold nuggets. I have the unique ability to sniff (sniffs into handkerchief) out rocks (throws over her hand). That's why they call me a rock hound. I'm a pedigree hound dog that sniffs out rocks, but not just any kind of rocks. No sir! Not me, I sniff out jewels and gold (giggles). That's right would you like to see one of my jewels. (shows hand) I traveled half way around the world to find gold and diamonds here in Witswatersrand. A couple weeks ago, I met Aristo Rat. He gave me a wonderful book and told me to do some mining in it. So I did. I found wonderful jewels. Jewels more valuable than all my other jewels put together. (Brings out Bible) I just love it. I just love it. It's my very favorite mine yet! Well, I want to sniff out some more diamonds. Four T's. That means ta ta 'til tomorrow! (EXITS)

Diamonds from Proverbs

Goldie the Rock Hound Puppet

Goldie is a rock hound, that means she sniffs out rocks, but not just any rocks-diamonds.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, you know. In Goldie's travels around the world exploring diamond mines, she discovers a treasure more valuable than diamonds, more precious than rubies- the Bible.

Sylvester the Snake overhears her excited chatter as she shares nuggets from her new found treasure. He plots with his accomplice, Ding Bat, to steal the treasure. He gets it, but he fails to get it!
