Time Lapse

I am intrigued by time-lapse photography like the one in this blog. I find the growth process that takes place in seconds before my eyes captivating. But what seems to have taken place in seconds, price actually takes an extended period of time. Sadly, there is no such thing as instantaneous growth like the 46 second video on this page. As much as I wish there was, growth takes time. No, growth takes cultivation; water, son light and time. I understand that, so I trrrrry to be patient. And I hate that part. I wish I could produce time-lapse results without enduring the time between the start and the end. But, the time in between is important or God would not make it part of the harvest.

And that’s why your job as a teacher is so important. Ask God to bless the seed you’ve sown. Believe God for the harvest. Cultivate that seed by re-illustrating, encouraging and bringing the light of truth to their hearts, not just their heads.

Isaiah 55:10-13

For as the rain cometh down , and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud , that it may give seed to the sower , and bread to the eater : 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please , and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off .
